Getting started is fast and easy. Simply go to CheckIn.DrOwl.com if you would like to sign your organization up to use the DrOwl free screening tool.
The first step is to create a DrOwl “administrative account” for your organization. Please note that you can only sign your organization up on DrOwl’s website at CheckIn.DrOwl.com because the DrOwl website is what is used for the administrative side of the DrOwl check-in tool.
When you are signing up your organization, you are creating an “administrative account” for your organization and not a “personal account”. If you are looking to create a “personal” DrOwl account to check into locations, you will need to download the DrOwl app, sign-up for a “personal” DrOwl account, and check into your facility locations using the DrOwl app.
You can sign any organization up to use the DrOwl screening tool, but the sign up process is a little bit different depending on the type of organization that you are signing up (e.g. business vs. nursing home). Below are the steps to sign up each type of organization.
1) To sign up a business or school follow the steps below:
Go to the DrOwl website, and in the top menu click on the button for the check-in tool.
This will take you to DrOwl’s check-in sign-up page. When you get to that page, click on the “Facility or School Administrators” button on the bottom right-hand side of the page to start the process of creating an “administrative account” for your organization.
The next step is to choose your facility type by clicking on the bubble to the left of the choice that matches your type of facility, fill out the sign up form, and click on the green sign up button at the bottom of the page to submit your sign up form when you are done.
Please note that your password needs to have at least 6 characters, with at least one upper case letter, one number, and one special character (e.g. $, @, !, etc.).
After you finish the sign up form, DrOwl will email you a confirmation code at the email address you provided. Once you have the confirmation code, enter it into the confirmation code box, and then click on the green submit button to finish the process of signing up your business or school.
2) To sign up a nursing home follow the steps below:
Go to the DrOwl website, and in the top menu click on the button for the check-in tool.
This will take you to DrOwl’s check-in sign-up page. When you get to that page, click on the “Facility or School Administrators” button on the bottom right-hand side of the page to start the process of creating an administrative account for your organization.
The next step is to choose “nursing home” as your facility type by clicking on the bubble to the left of that choice, put in your zip code and tap on the green search icon to the right of the zip code search box to look for your nursing home.
If you see your nursing home, click on the bubble to the left of your nursing home to select it, and then click on the next button on the lower left-hand corner.
If you don’t see your nursing home in the ones that are listed for your zip code, click the bubble to the left of the “not in the list” choice to select it. You will then be able to add in your organizations name, address, phone number, email, and password.

Once you have finished adding in your account information, click on the green sign up button at the bottom of the page to submit your sign up form.
